Weekend Update

Last weekend was filled with events...

The women's ministry planned a bowling & dinner night to kick off our summer plans for female bonding. It turned out well. Although the college girls weren't able to make it, the ladies still had a good time bowling and encouraging each other.







On Sunday (Mother's Day) -

The children (toddlers) came and sang a song for the mother's in the congreation.



And to celebrate my mom's day... Our family had dinner at Mimi's Cafe:







I'm excited to be a part of a CJ! My very first one... I hope to get my album started this weekend and have a theme picked out. I might need some help narrowing down the decision of the theme. Will post up my final 3 later on this week... after i weed out the other 20 in my head =)

Well as for some personal update, I'm going to be quitting my full time job soon. June 9th should be my last day... and will be taking summer school (physiology) which requires 6 hours a day from me. So i'm not going to be working for 6 weeks and hopefully after the class ends, I'll be able to find a part time job while i study for the GRE and volunteer. As scary as it all is because of the uncertianty, it's exciting because i'm taking big steps towards fulfilling my passion. I think i'll always wish i could be a professional scrapbooker, but being an OT for kids is just as good.
